New Romney untaxed vehicle.

Hello all

This Golf was very under par having not been taxed for several months so the fair way of dealing with it was to seize it and the owner can now wait for DVLA to contact them which could result in a fine of up to £1,000 or 5 times the annual cost of the vehicle's tax (whichever is more).

The owner will also need to initially tax it before they collect it from the recovery pound and pay a minimum of £100 release fee to the recovery operator.

Therefore it's much cheaper to tax it in the first place and of course, it's the law to do so.
