Local Beat Update |

Good afternoon Resident,
Back in November 2025 I suffered a serious injury while chasing a drink driver tearing my bicep tendon which resulted in surgery. On the 10th April 2026 I was fit enough to return to full frontline duties. PC Moore was covering me during the months off while I was sat behind a desk assisting other officers with paperwork. I thank PC Moore for covering me as we have all seen the increase in call demand as the weather improves. I will go forward be sending bi-weekly updates as to what both PC Brown and I have been up like I was doing before I got injured.
Since Friday we have been to several 999 calls including assaults, domestic incidents and disturbances. I also arrested a drink driver on my first day back which was poetic since it was a drink driver that caused my injury. I attended the Royal British Legion cafe today to speak to local residents and met with a local representative.
I am fully aware of the nuisance off road bikes zooming around Leybourne Lakes, Ferryfields, New Hythe Lane, Ditton and in the fields to the back of East Malling. Also aware of all the sightings of youths with catapults as well as speeding and ASB vehicles on Hall Road/New Hythe Lane.
Please keep reporting these incidents into police as it builds a picture of where the incidents are happening and where I look to be present.
Thanks
PC 30457 Warner
