Tips from West Wickham SNT |

A reminder to residents.
We have noticed on our patrols; households are leavening their large green and brown (garden waste) wheeled bins up against or Infront of side gates/fences leading to the rear of the property.
These could allow easy access, giving thieves an easy way to step up and over any fence or gate.
Bins left out can also indicate that there is no one at home.
Sometimes this can be overlooked, as storing away so many large waste bins and recycle boxes can be difficult to do. If you can, remove Garden furniture or bins away from windows so that thieves cannot use them to gain access.
Wooden pallets can also act as a short ladder, consider storing these out of view or behind a fence/gate where possible. | ||
