CANNOCK WOOD UPDATE

Good evening, residents of Cannock Wood,

This evening I have been on patrol in the village, engaging with a number of local residents and carrying out reassurance patrols.

As part of this, I have also installed a couple of signs at the main entrances to the village. These signs are in place to help discourage doorstep traders, following recent concerns raised by residents.

Please remember that legitimate traders will usually make appointments in advance and provide proper identification. If you are approached by a doorstep trader and feel unsure or pressured, do not engage and report it to Staffordshire Police on 101. If you feel intimidated or threatened, always call 999.
