On Monday morning(Monday 20th April) Local ward officers PC Davies and PC Boyce were on foot patrol on Vauxhall Bridge Road when they came across a male who they knew was wanted for a number of offences. Locally gathered intelligence also showed the male has recently become actively involved in local drug dealing. He made an attempt to evade capture but was quickly detained and arrested. After a brief precautionary visit to hospital he was taken into custody at Charing Cross Police Station. He was wanted for breaching the terms of his court bail, failing to comply with the requirements of his Sex Offender Notification and for recall to prison. He will appear Magistrates Court in the morning and as a result of this arrest he is likely to be off our streets for some time. |
