Safe and Sound

Today, PCSO Suki Mander joined partners from a range of agencies to deliver safety talks to young children as part of the Staffordshire Fire Service's Safe & Sound campaign, which has returned again this year.

Fire Safe & Sound is a multi‑agency safety education programme that helps children learn how to stay safe in everyday situations, covering important messages around fire safety, policing, transport and environmental awareness. The campaign will run over the next couple of weeks, with schools across the district and surrounding areas taking part.

Alongside police and fire colleagues, we were pleased to work with Network Rail, the Canal & River Trust , and DHL, all of whom shared valuable safety advice from their areas of expertise.

A great example of partnership working to educate and protect our youngest members of the community.
