2 Wanted Offenders Arrested MARE STREET

On Tuesday 21st April 2026, officers from Homerton Safer Neighbourhood Team were out in force as part of a targeted day of action tackling crime in known hotspot areas, specifically, Narrow Way on Mare Street in Hackney.

During proactive patrols, two wanted offenders were successfully stopped and are currently being held in police custody.

These results come from focused work to disrupt criminal activity and keep our communities and businesses safe. We’ll continue to maintain a visible presence in the area and take action against those involved in crime.
