Motor Vehicle on Cloned Plates

Hello all,

On 21/04/2026, 3179EA & 7127EA came across a motor vehicle in Parkstone Avenue, which had two parking fines attached onto the windscreen. We ran a PNC check and discovered that the motor vehicle was on cloned plates, as the VIN was incorrect. 

Liaising with our control room, we were given the correct VRM for this motor vehicle, which has been reported stolen. Recovery was arranged, who took the motor vehicle to our car pound in Charlton.
