Scam calls claiming to be Police

There has been an increase is calls from scammers claiming to be police officers.

They often claim a person has been arrested who lives at your address.

They also asked who else lives there and if the house is occupied.

Police will not make unsolicited phone calls requesting personal information unless there is an active and ongoing case involving them. If anyone requests personal details over the phone, they should not disclose any information and should end the call immediately.
