Scam Email Message

⚠️ Scam Warning ⚠️

Dear residents,

We recently received an email from one of our residents, but this turned out to be a scam, it was not actually from them but from the scammer!

We made contact with the resident and they made us aware that their email account had been hacked, and this person had emailed all their contacts, posing as them, this was the actual message as below:

“Do you use Amazon? I travelled for a funeral and been trying to get an iTunes gift card for my nephew, for his birthday. I’ve tried doing it online severally but no luck. Can you help with this? Let me know please.”

So please - 

Do not reply. Do not send money or gift card details.
Delete the message immediately.

If concerned, report to Action Fraud or contact the police via 101.
