* * * KNOCKING ON DOORS * * *

The SNT have seen an increase in reports of harassment in Melbourne regarding groups of youths knocking on doors and running away. Whilst we appreciate this type of behaviour might be considered to be low lever and harmless, it can actually have a great impact on victims. 

We have dealt with damage caused to doors / windows and had to safeguard vulnerable members of the community as a result of youths banging and kicking on doors repeatedly. Please be aware of where your kids are and what they are up to, especially as we move into the summer months, making it more likely for them to be out in the community for longer periods of time. 

Offenders have been identified recently and dealt with accordingly but we do not want to see this become a regular issue.
