You Said, We Did -Road Safety Action Across Belgrave
Following concerns raised by residents, PCSO 6196 Spendilow has been carrying out highโvisibility vehicle speed monitoring across Belgrave Road, Melton Road, and surrounding streets.
Local people told us that speeding and poor driving behaviour were causing worry in these areas ๐โ ๏ธ. We listened โ and we acted.

Vehicles exceeding speed limits
Dangerous or careless driving
Increased risk to pedestrians and other road users

In response, targeted patrols are taking place to monitor traffic and identify road traffic offences, including (but not limited to):
๐ Speeding over the legal limit
๐ Drivers or passengers not wearing seatbelts
๐ Use of mobile phones while driving
๐ Other vehicleโrelated offences
This activity is designed to both detect offences and deter unsafe driving through a strong visible presence ๐.
