Police Activity in the Area

Dear Residents,

Over the past few days, local officers have been carrying out reassurance patrols in the vicinity of Fenton Close, Escott Gardens, Belvoir Estate, Court Farm Road, Dunkery Road, and surrounding areas in Mottingham.

We continue to address concerns around anti-social behaviour, and warnings are being issued to individuals whose actions are causing nuisance or disruption within the local community.

Where offences have been reported, crime prevention advice has been provided through letter drops to victims of crime and neighbouring residents, with the aim of reducing further incidents and increasing community awareness.

In addition, we are currently supporting and mentoring local businesses that are experiencing ongoing issues with shoplifting. Officers are working closely with business management teams to develop and adapt proactive strategies to prevent criminal behaviour, while encouraging positive engagement with the local community.
