We’d like to remind residents to take simple steps to reduce the risk of motor vehicle theft.

You can help protect your vehicle by:

Locking your vehicle every time you leave it, even for short periods

Removing keys, keyless fobs, and valuables from inside the vehicle

Parking in a well‑lit, busy area where possible

Using additional security such as steering wheel locks or immobilisers

Keeping keyless entry fobs in signal‑blocking pouches at home

Ensuring windows, sunroofs, and doors are fully closed

If you notice anyone acting suspiciously around parked vehicles, please report it promptly. Early information helps us target patrols and prevent crime.

By taking these precautions and looking out for one another, we can help keep our community safe.
