We have received reports of vehicle interference around the Offmore Estate . The incident occurred around 01:15hrs on 25th April 2026 where 2 male wearing balaclavas on bicycles have been witnessed attempting to enter vehicles on TENNYSON WAY. At 1:20hrs on KIPLING WALK they have entered a vehicle, leaving the door open. The males appeared to be engaging with a silver or white VAUXHALL CORSA, driving with no lights on nearby. At approximately 01:45hrs on PRIOR CLOSE, a further four vehicles have been entered, from one vehicle money, a battery booster and prescription medication were stolen.
We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the theft of these items or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious. There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your property - where possible remove all valuable items from your vehicle before leaving it unattended, double checking that it is left locked.
We are also encouraging the community to call us on 101 if they see anyone acting suspiciously around a vehicle. If you have information about this or any other suspected crime, please let us know using the online ‘Tell Us About’ form on our website www.westmercia.police.uk, quoting incident reference 141_I_26042026. If you aren’t comfortable contacting us directly, you can pass on information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or by visiting their website: www.crimestoppers-uk.org If you ever feel at risk, or a crime is in progress, please always dial 999.
Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime. Kind regards,
