Overnight crimes

Good afternoon,

Further to my last report this morning I have been made aware of a across border attempted robbery in Burnway, St Andrews ward,(close to bridge into Woodhall Crescent)  whereby an attempted robbery occurred on 27/04/2026 at approximately 1845 hours whereby x2 suspects approached a 14 year old boy in an attempt to get his phone but was interrupted by members of public who intervened and the suspects fled empty handed.

The 1st suspect was described as a white male approximate age 16 wearing black clothing, a black puffer jacket and a balaclava. The 2nd suspect was described as a black male also around 16 years old wearing black clothing and a puffer jacket and a balaclava.
