What has been happening? Good news –
Over the last week the team assisted colleagues from response and WMP Dogs by forcing entry to a flat for a male who was wanted for five offences including thefts and robberies across the Solihull and Birmingham area. After the door was forced open, he was located inside and arrested.
Officers have arrested a mother and daughter for making threats to kill against a partner of one of their family members. The victim lives in Wales but had received multiple threats of attending her address and killing her. The two were arrested taken to custody to be interviewed.
Officers arrested a female in Smiths Wood for an assault with injury by throwing a stone at her partner’s head then racially abusing him. She was further locked up for making threats to kill him right in front of us.
The PCSO’s have carried out some speed watches in Green Lane, Windward Way and Fordbridge road on Saturday afternoon. Letters have been sent in the post to those that were speeding.
We have been having numerous complaints around anti-social behaviour in and around Kingshurst Park on Marston Drive. The team have been pro-actively patrolling around this area over the last week. We have been door knocking in the area speaking to residents to listen to their concerns. Also linking in with local schools to help identify any of the youths involved. We are looking to deliver inputs in the local schools around anti-social behaviour and consequences. We will also be looking at options to deal with any youths caught taking part in criminal activities.
