#Arrested | Three arrests made following knifepoint robbery at Repton Post Office
Three suspects have been arrested following a knifepoint robbery at Repton Post Office.
Officers from a number of specialist departments, including the Swadlincote Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) and Criminal Investigation Department (CID), were deployed to the High Street post office at about 11.15am today (Tuesday 28 April). Three suspects were found and arrested shortly afterwards.
Two men, aged 42 and 37, along with a 43-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of robbery.
They remain in police custody this afternoon.
Inspector Leanne Craig said: “I would like to thank members of the community for their swift reporting and for supporting officers by providing vital information and evidence. Your assistance has been greatly appreciated.
“You may notice increased and targeted police patrols in the area today. These patrols are in place to provide reassurance, engage with the community and to offer advice. Please do not hesitate to speak with officers if you have any concerns or questions.
