Foot Patrols along Tram, Penywaun

Evening, 

Myself and PCSO Anscombe conducted high visibility foot patrols along the tramline this evening, where we came across a fire that was lit by youths in the area. This kind of behaviour is not acceptable and is Anti-Social. Fires spread rapidly, sometimes doubling in size within seconds, leaving little time to escape. Lucky Officers were able to stop this with the support of the Fire Service to prevent any further damage or danger. 

We want to encourage residents to report this kind of behaviour, and work with us to tackle Anti-social behaviour. 

We will continue to regularly patrol the area, especially key hot spots of ASB.
