🚔 Drink Driving Warning 🚔

Good evening Resident

This afternoon, one of the  Beat Officers and Neighbourhood Task Force PCSOs from Ashford, stopped a vehicle following reports of poor driving. Officers witnessed the standard of driving and carried out a stop.

The driver admitted consuming alcohol and was unable to provide a roadside breath test. They were arrested, and further testing later recorded a reading of 149, well over the legal limit of 35.

The driver has been detained and will spend the night at Folkestone Custody, where this matter will be dealt with.

With the warmer weather upon us, please remember: don’t drink and drive. It endangers lives.
