To Neighbourhood Watch Participants in West Dulwich, please feel free to share. From Philip Virgo as SNP Chair and NHW Lead The next meeting of the West Dulwich Safer Neighbourhood Panel will be on 18th May at 7.00, in the Peabody Village Community Centre, Peabody Cottages off Rosendale Road, SE24 This is the meeting which sets the priorities for the West Dulwich Safer Neighbourhood Team. Membership: There are 139 registered households, most in the following groups: Carson Road 3, Chancellor Grove 1, Chestnut Road 30, Clive road 16, Croxted Road 19, Dalmore, Eastmearn & Tulsemere 9, Idmiston Chatsworth & Ardlui 9, Lancaster & Lavengro 4, Lings Coppice 10, Lovelace 7, Norwood Road Central 1, Peabody Village 2, Robson 1, Rosendale Gardens 2, Rosendale Road Central 4, Trinity Rise 5, Whytefield 10. All are asked to send at least one representative to the SNP meeting and all participants are invited. We need to find co-ordinators for the Groups covering Chancellor Grove, Norwood Road Central, Robson Road, Rosendale Road and Trinity rise.
A summary report of the planning meeting for the Lmabeth NHW Association on 31st March was sent to all on the NHW participants database. Please reply to this or e-mail development@lambethnhwa.co.uk if you would like a copy. The main points not covered in that report are:
Neighbourhood Watch Week . The incidents in Clapham over the Easter Break highlighted the need to identify and work with those already planning youth engagement activities after the exam season and use the week to help publicise, promote and build on these. The police have no plans for a summer youth camp this year. The Council has announced the following: The Lambeth VCS community engagement meeting to discuss activities is on 4th June and will provide an opportunity to meet delivery partners. See attached copies of Lambeth VCS and Youth and Play newsletters for more details of what is already planned and/or current funding opportunities, including how to sign up for future copies. Please reply to this or e-mail development@lambethnhwa.co.uk if you would like a meeting in West Norwood to discuss local co-operation. Please suggest venues/days/times (e.g. a café/pub and/or morning, lunchtime, afternoon/evening) convenient to you and those you think should be involved. | ||
