Community Update

Today, officers form Shadwell, Whitechapel and Wapping have been working closely together to address local concerns and keep our community safe.

As result of joint patrols and proactive policing, we had:

x1 arrest for possession of 18 wraps of Class A drugs in Swedenborg Gardens

x1 arrest for possession of offensive weapons ( a large Rambo knife and knuckleduster were seized) in Shadwell Gardens 

x2 stop & search conducted in St George’s Park resulting in x2 community resolutions issued for possession of cannabis

In addition, we carried out joint weapon sweep alongside the Tower Hamlets Enforcement Officers and conducted high-visibility patrols across the area.

Officers also worked alongside the Dog Unit, supporting searches and patrols in the key areas.

We will continue working together to tackle anti-social behaviour.
