Fly-tipping and antisocial behaviour (ASB) in Tipton are managed through a partnership between Sandwell Council and West Midlands Police.

 Fly-Tipping & Littering

• Report Online: Use the Sandwell Council Fly-tipping tool to log incidents.
• Public Safety Risk: If dumped items block roads or contain chemicals, call 0121 368 1177 (Mon–Fri, 8am–5:30pm) or 07889 117913 (out of hours).
• Private Land: Owners are responsible for clearing waste unless it attracts vermin or is harmful to health.
• Witness Evidence: You can upload photos or video evidence via the MySandwell Portal to help with prosecutions.
• Fines: Fly-tippers in Sandwell can face a fixed penalty notice of £1,000. 

Antisocial Behaviour (ASB)

  • Noise/Neighbours: Report persistent noise or neighbour disputes directly to Sandwell Council Environmental Health.
• Emergency: Call 999 if there is an immediate threat to life or a crime in progress. 

Important Advice: Never confront fly-tippers or individuals engaged in ASB directly. Keep a safe distance and record details like vehicle registrations or physical descriptions. 

🚨 Warning: Many recent Tipton cases involve residents hiring "cheap" waste removers on social media who then dump the items. If you hire someone, you are legally responsible for where your waste ends up.
