Dear Resident
Good morning to you all from the Four Oaks and New Hall Neighbourhood Teams
On this set of shifts your neighbourhood teams have been busy in your community carrying out the following tasks
We have been carrying patrols in Mere Green, Walmley and Wylde Green retail areas deterring shoplifters.
Four Oaks Neighbourhood Theft of motor vehicle
There have been 5 reports of a stolen vehicle in the past week, Harvestfields Way - A Bronze Nissan Quashqai was stolen with keys. Dawney Drive – A Land Rover Defender, taken by unknown means. Highbury Road – A Citroen Berlingo, white panel van by unknown means. Trinity Road – A Grey Mazda CX 5, taken by unknown means. Clarence Road – A Triumph motor bike, taken by snapping the lock.
New Hall Neighbourhood
Burglaries Moxhull Drive – entered property by drilling the locks, keys to two vehicles taken, no vehicles stolen. Anton Drive – Lock snap, property not entered, nothing stolen. Ledbury Way - Lock snap, property not entered, nothing stolen.
If you do own a keyless entry vehicle, please make sure that your keys are kept in a faraday pouch (always remember to check your Faraday pouch is still working), when at home or out and about, this will stop thieves getting the signal for your vehicle. Using a steering wheel lock is also a visual deterrent.
For more crime prevention advice go to www.westmidlands.police.uk/cp/crime-prevention/ or www.securedbydesign.com
Please remember to lock all windows and doors, do not leave keys in your doors, especially if you have a cat/dog flap, before heading out make sure your home looks like someone is in.
Surgeries Officers from the Four Oaks Neighbourhood Team have carried out a Police Surgery at St James Church, giving crime prevention advice and talking to local residents about issues in the area. Street Watch Our great volunteers have carried out Street Watch patrols in Mere Green, Wylde Green and Walmley keeping our communities safe and reporting any issues. Have a safe week.
Kind Regards Four Oaks and Walmley Neighbourhood Teams | ||
