Hello Resident
✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅ The team have been heavily enforcing the PSPO (Public Space Protection Order) on the town centre, including the bus interchange, KFC and McDonald's to deter ASB and prevent crime. Fordbridge officers have also been in Lily's Tea Parlour this set for our monthly Cuppa with a Coppa - we saw loads of you come to us and ask for advice, or just for a chat, which is what we love to see! The team have also placed numerous offenders under arrest for various offences, including breaching the PSPO. We have also executed a warrant this set, which also led to numerous arrests and a number of contraband seized. 📅 Upcoming Police & Community Engagements 📅 🚨 Crime & Safety Updates — What You Need to Know 🚨 🔎 Recent Incidents/Trends: At 18:30hrs on 29th April, the rear windscreen of a MG ZS was smashed on Bosworth Drive by youths throwing stones. ✅ Crime Prevention Tips: To help us combat theft from/of motor vehicle, please make sure your vehicle is locked, secure, and nothing of value is visible from the outside to deter opportunistic offenders from damaging your vehicle in order to get to anything you may have left in view. Prevention is key; steering locks are inexpensive and easily found in local motoring shops, or through a reliable online retailer. You should also place any keyless entry vehicle keys in a faraday pouch in order to prevent relay theft - these are also inexpensive and easily found through online retailers, or at any of our drop-in sessions where we regularly give them out. 📞 How to Contact Us or Report Information 📞 💬 Stay Connected with Your Local Team: Helpful links -Crime prevention advice | West Midlands Police -Keep burglars out of your property | West Midlands Police -How safe is your flat? | Crime Prevention | West Midlands Police -Chelmsley Wood | Your area | West Midlands Police | West Midlands Police Make sure to keep your eye on our West Midlands Police neighbourhood page on the above link for any community events planned - Fordbridge officers have a Cuppa with a Coppa planned on the 4th of June 2026 at Lily's Tea Parlour located on Maple Walk in the Chelmsley Wood town centre - please don't hesitate to come along. 🤝🏼 Thank you for working with us to keep Chelmsley Wood safe and informed.
