Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

Hello St Matthew's residents

We have had another busy week this week and would like to let you know what we have been up to:

Officers have been busy with various arrests this week which have included being in possession of Counterfeit currency and Cannabis, Breach of Tag and breach of Drug Intervention programme to name but a few.

Speed watch operation which was held on Highgate Road, with local residents also taking part and any drivers that were over the speed limit will be expecting a warning letter at any time!

Attending residents meetings at Nehemiah Court, Caldmore and Highgate View, Highgate, where we have offered residents crime prevention advice and listened to any issues they have.

We have took part in a Street Watch patrol whereby students from Walsall College who have their own Street Watch group, have worked alongside us to patrol the Town Centre, offering crime prevention advice and support to members of the public, shop staff and commuters in Walsall Town Centre.

We have also attended various coffee mornings that we have been invited to, and offered support, namely St Matthews Church, Black Sisters collective, Caldmore, Tiny Tots group which is held at Lichfield Street Hub Library and also Walsall Society for the Blind, Hatherton Road.
