Vehicle Seizure – Partnership Action in Belgrave

As part of ongoing work to improve road safety and tackle environmental and vehicle‑related concerns, PC 1327 and PCSO 6196, supported by a Leicester City Council Warden, have seized a vehicle within the Belgrave area that was found to be untaxed and in a poor, unsafe condition.

During checks, the vehicle was identified as not road‑legal and unsuitable for use. The interior showed signs of significant mould growth, presenting a potential health risk and highlighting the importance of removing unsafe vehicles from public spaces.

Thanks to joint working between the Belgrave Neighbourhood Team and Leicester City Council, another unsafe vehicle has been removed from the area, helping to keep the community safe and roads clear of potential danger.
