We want to let you know about the following incident that’s taken place near you. You’re receiving this alert because you’ve told us you want to know about crime and incidents in your area.

Crime number: 23/19490/26 - Attempt Burglary Business

Date and time of incident: 04:30 07-MAY-2026

Location of incident: Lewis Road, Radford Semele

Details of incident: Unknown suspect(s) have approached a local shop on Lewis Road, Radford Semele at 04:30hrs today and attempted to gain entry by smashing the front door with a sledge hammer. Upper glass pane of the door was broken and the suspect(s) are suspected to have made off in a white vehicle. 

We’re appealing for any information about this incident that could help our investigation.  This may be something that you witnessed, or you may have information, CCTV or dash-cam footage. If you can please check your ring doorbells and call us on 101 quoting the above crime reference number if you find any footage.
