Six arrested following violent disorder

Dear Resident,

We have arrested six people in connection with violent disorder in Great Barr.

We were called to reports of disorder on Old Walsall Road, Great Barr, at around 3.50pm yesterday (Wednesday), where multiple people were seen fighting with weapons.

Officers attended including firearms and PD Aggie where six people were identified and arrested on suspicion of violent disorder. A sword was also recovered after it was spotted by our Drones Team in some bushes.

The six, aged between 16 and 19, have all been bailed pending further enquiries into the investigation.
