|
Dear Resident, Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information following a theft in Stevenage. Between 6.30pm on Friday 1 May and 1.30am on Saturday 2 May, several vehicles at the Mercedes Benz dealership on Gunnels Wood Road were damaged. Alloy wheels were removed and stolen from the cars, with the bolts left behind. Detective Constable Katie Darcy, who is investigating, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and I am urging anyone with information to please come forward. “Additionally, if you have been offered or seen alloy wheels for sale in suspicious circumstances, please report it. “I can be emailed via Katie.Darcy@herts.police.uk with any details.” You can also report information online, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting 41/41013/26. Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form.
