CCTV images released following attempted robbery in Derby |

Officers investigating an attempted robbery in Derby have released CCTV images of a man we are tracing in relation to the incident. A woman was walking along Babington Lane, close to the NCP car park, at about 12.30am on Tuesday 14 April when a man approached her and demanded she give him some money. The victim refused and the suspect hit her three times in the arm causing minor injuries. He then ran off back down Babington Lane in the direction of Sitwell Street. The suspect is described as having thinning hair who was wearing a large green coat. Officers arrested a 42-year-old man in connection with the incident but he has since been released. We have now released CCTV images of a man we would like to speak with in connection with the incident.
