Asda, 2 Short Blue Place, Barking, Stall held by local SNT

Good afternoon,

Your local Abbey SNT partook in a VAWG (Violence against women and girls) and Met Engage stall, outside of Asda 2 Short Blue Place, Barking today from the hours of 1630-1730 today whereby, copious amounts of leaflets and crime prevention tools were handed out to the local community. A positive response was given to us about this stall and members of the community were happy to see us out and about and were happy to have the opportunity to meet their local officers.

We also helped to deter crime in the vicinity and worked with our local council enforcement team to enforce the Public Space Protection Order in the vicinity by dealing with people openly causing ASB in an area adjacent. 

We aim to continue our stalls often, and to keep handing out crime prevention as often as possible, deterring crime and ASB while doing so.
