Our Priorities

What’s Been Happening?

This week we have carried out a letter drop and reassurance patrols within the Northfield area to assist our colleagues in maintaining an increased presence.

We continue with our school patrols around Frankley and Longbridge, its lovely to see the children all making their way to school and say hello.

We visited the 26 polling stations within our ward area to check in with the staff at each one and to make them aware that we have officers on standby in and around the locations should they be needed. All polling stations we visited reported the process was going smoothly. 

We popped in to the Tea & Chat session in No 4 Arden Road, it was lovely to see familiar faces and catch up even though it was brief on this occasion. We hope to have more time available next week. 

We held our PCSO Meets The Community on M&S Longbridge Retail Park and discussed concerns within the area. 

Great to join our Holly Gardens StreetWatch for a productive walk, discussing issues within the area.

Good News

Longbridge Neighbourhood Officers arrested a wanted male spotted on Longbridge Retail Park and he was swiftly arrested and taken to custody.

Parking

We have been receiving reports from residents across our area around vehicles being parked in a manner that is fully obstructing the pavements, preventing safe passage through for pedestrians.

We would like to politely remind residents and any visitors that there should be enough space on pavements for the width of a double pushchair and wheelchairs to pass through.
