CRIME update for April 2026 |

Dear Resident
Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the Forest Recreation Ground & Arboretum Police beat area during the month of April.
Burglaries residential = 0 Burglaries residential unconnected building = 1 04/04 Collison Street – Unknown offender has cut lock off rear garage of unoccupied property and stolen £1400 worth of tools from inside.
Criminal damage = 2 04/04 North Sherwood Street – Unknown offender has spray painted graffiti on the wall of university building. 30/04 North Sherwood Street – Passenger side window of vehicle smashed.
Theft of motor vehicle = 0 Theft from vehicle = 2 09/04 The Forest Recreation Ground – Between 8pm and 10pm, dash cam stolen from vehicle. 14/04 Burford Road – Between 9am and 3pm, driver side window smashed, money stolen.
