✖️ VEHICLE SEIZED 🚗 Bodnant Close

PC Harris from the Hartlepool Neighbourhood Policing Team was carrying out patrols in the Rural West ward today after concerns were reported by a member of the public regarding a black Ford Focus believed to have been driven by youths who did not appear old enough to hold a driving licence. The vehicle was also linked to several other incidents reported in the local area.

Following an area search, PC Harris located the vehicle parked, locked and unattended in Bodnant Close. Checks revealed the vehicle was untaxed and uninsured, and it was subsequently seized.

Enquiries are ongoing to identify the driver and passengers. If the driver wishes to come forward, they are invited to contact police on 101, quoting reference SE26088548.

Police are also appealing for any CCTV, doorbell or dash‑cam footage that may show this vehicle being driven prior to 1:15pm on 10/05/2026, or footage showing the occupants leaving the vehicle in Bodnant Close at this time. Relevant footage can be uploaded using the police online submission portal.
