2 vehicles recovered that were used in crime

1 stolen car and 1 stolen moped were also recovered

Arrests

1 x male - criminal damage and 3 x assaults

2 x females - failing to appear to court

1 x male – failing to appear to court

1 x male – threats to cause damage

1 x male – recall to prison

2 x males – theft from shops and stalls

1 x male – disqualified driver

1 x male – 3 shoplifting offences and breach of court

1 x missing person located and returned to their place of safety 

Police Surgeries/Meetings

Police Surgeries were conducted at The Hive, New Invention, The library and Queens Lea Community Centre

Upcoming Police Surgeries with Walsall Housing Group :

The Hive, The Square Lichfield Road –  11/05/26 between 12.30 to 13.30 

Queens Lea Community Centre, Queens Lea – 20/05/26 between 14.00 and 15.00

Police Surgeries are open to all members of the Willenhall Community to come and discuss any issues that you may have in your local area. 

School visits and Police Surgeries conducted at Pool Hayes Comp, Willenhall E-Act and St Thomas More. 

PACT meeting (Police and Community Together) was held at the Queens Lea community Centre on 06/05/26, thank you to everyone who attended.

Patrols & ASB

Officers are continuing their patrols in ASB hotspots, Willenhall Town Centre, Memorial Park and Western Avenue. We have identified 6 youths who were causing issues by the shops in Western Ave, they will be visited with Walsall Council and WHG and warning letters will be issued.   

We have been patrolling the areas where we have received reports of drug dealing, Officers have stopped and searched individuals who are believed to be dealing. 

Walsall Housing Group have successfully obtained a 2 year suspended possession order in relation to a residence regarding off road bikes and ASB.

Street watch patrols conducted at Scholars Heath Estate and Brackendale/Lodge Farm Estate

We have been doing joint patrols with Walsall Enforcement Officers around local schools, advising and issuing tickets where necessary.
