Speed Checks Carried Out Following Community Concerns

Good afternoon, Resident,

PS Edwards and PC Costin from the Neighbourhood Beat Team, alongside PC Wright from Speedwatch Engagement & Enforcement, conducted speed checks on Seal Hollow Road and Childsbridge Lane.

This enforcement activity followed reports from local residents regarding concerns about vehicles exceeding the speed limit in the area. A number of vehicles were stopped, with drivers receiving educational engagement where appropriate, and Traffic Offence Reports were submitted for speeding offences.

Speed limits are in place to protect all road users and local communities. Excess speed significantly increases the risk and severity of collisions. Drivers are encouraged to regularly check their speed, remain alert to changing limits, and drive appropriately for the road conditions.
