Knife Crime & Community Safety – A Message From Your Safer Neighbourhood Team |
||
|
incidents across London continue to highlight the serious impact knife crime and violence can have on individuals, families and communities. We understand that some residents may feel concerned about violence, antisocial behaviour and intimidation within the area. Fear of retaliation or fear of getting involved can sometimes prevent people from reporting concerns to police. However, sharing information early can assist police and partner agencies in preventing harm and safeguarding those at risk. You do not need to witness a crime taking place to report concerns. Information relating to weapons, violent disputes, threats, intimidation or ongoing ASB can help build intelligence and support preventative policing activity. Your local Safer Neighbourhood Team continues to carry out: Local policing activity across the area has included stop and search, weapon recoveries and arrests linked to violence and ASB.
