Dear Residents, Welcome to the Police Update for the last week. The message includes personal fraud (Scams), burglaries, catalytic converter and vehicle thefts reported between the 30th April 2026 7th May 2026. The report also includes information on arrests in the Borough.
Car Crime This week there have been 3 reports of theft from cars and 0 reports of attempts to gain access to vehicles. Please note that there were 4 reports of car thefts in the Horley area this week and 3 of the vehicles were Ford Kuga’s. Arrests. There were 46 arrests in the period April 30th 2026 to May 6th 2026: Domestic Incident/Violent Domestic Abuse 4, Rape/Sexual Offence 5, Drugs 2, Prescribed Limit 1, Violent Crime in a Public Place 7, Violent Crime Other 3, Harassment/Stalking 2, Child Protection 3, Master Occurrence 4*, Robbery 1, Theft 1, Crime Other 4, Absconder/Wanted 1, Criminal Damage 1, Immigration 5, Suspicious Incident 1, Neighbour Dispute 1. *A Master Occurrence is used when recording an arrest where a number of offences are recorded for one incident.
Personal Fraud (Scams) in the Borough. Records show that there has been Two reports of Personal Fraud in the Borough during the last week. These a report of a Bank fraud
