Incident NEVERN PLACE junction with TEMPLETON PLACE on Saturday the 9th MAY 2026

On Saturday the 9th MAY at 1515 hours in NEVERN PLACE junction with TEMPLETON PLACE. The Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) were on foot patrol when they saw two men attack one male outside the old MANOR HOTEL. Due to the levels of violence used police deployed PAVA SPRAY & BATON tactics to subdue the suspects. One male was arrested and found in possession of lockable folding knife. 

It is a concern for society in general the epidemic of knife crime and the MPS will always deal with any offence involving knife crime robustly. 

The male arrested was charged with possession of a knife which will be subsequently destroyed. He has been sent to court and banned from entering the Earls Court Ward. 

Police will continue patrols in the area to prevent any further offences & the NPT will continue to investigate the causes and circumstances surrounding this incident.
