Operation Skybridge is coming to Soho!
The team deploy in areas across Birmingham and support the local Neighbourhood Teams in tackling serious and acquisitive Crime that is impacting the local community. This includes Burglary, Robbery, Vehicle and Drug crime.
On Wednesday 13th May 2026 The Operation Skybridge Team will deploy to Soho.
Working a mixture of shifts, including early mornings and throughout the night, they will provide a presence, compromising of both reassurance/deterrence patrols, as well as pro-actively seeking out those intent on causing harm to the community. On this occasion, the team will deploy in conjunction with Operation Fearless! Providing a comprehensive policing presence, utilising a range of tactics we will work together to ensure your area is a safer place to live.
What can you do? Ensure that all valuables are removed from vehicles, or hidden out of sight. Make sure that all windows & doors are locked and secure on your property. Consider installing CCTV cameras, security lights, video doorbells and alarm systems - All of which can make your property less attractive to thieves. Trust your instincts, contact the police if you have any concerns.
