Yesterday, Creswell SNT alongside our colleagues from the Bolsover and Shirebrook teams were present on Welbeck Street, Creswell.
Our presence was to prevent any breach of the peace whilst High Court Enforcement Officers carried out eviction warrants at two separate addresses.
Although these matters fall under the authority of the High Court, as a Safer Neighbourhood Team we remain community focused. Officers were on hand to support those affected, safeguard individuals involved, and signpost them towards agencies and services that may be able to provide further help and support.
We understand situations such as these can be difficult for everyone involved, and we thank the local community for their patience and cooperation throughout yesterdays activity.
