Town Centre Patrol

Good afternoon all,

Whilst on foot patrol today, PCSO 72838 Davies and PC 10396 Sodegbe, were alerted by members of the public regarding 2 males trying to sell perfume. When officers have managed to get closer to the males, they have made off on foot, after a foot chase by officers, the two males were detained and subject to a stop search. It then came to our attention that the males had thrown the 2 bags onto a roof of a shop. Officers recovered the bags and inside were various brands of perfume. Due to having no evidence to suggest these items were stolen, it was assumed they were counterfeit. Details of the males were obtained, intelligence has been submitted and their details have been passed to the trading standards team at Rochdale Council.
