Suspicious Activity

Good afternoon,

We would like to make you aware of a report of a male acting suspicious on Lanark street in the early hours of Wednesday morning, 13th May.  The male was seen walking up and down the street with a torch.  Officers were deployed and there was no trace of the male.

In a separate incident on Wednedsay evening on Coal Clough Lane, two males were reported trying to gain access to a garage, however they were disturbed and left the area.

Please remain vigilant and if you see anything please report it.

We also ask that you ensure any external lighting and security around your property are in good working order, as this can help deter activity and support any enquiries if required.
