Food bank and community engagement at Society Links

Whitechapel SNT Community Engagement Update

Whitechapel SNT carried out a community engagement session today at Society Links. During this visit, we discussed recent incidents in the area, including an arson attack at the Whitechapel Synagogue, and provided updates regarding ongoing issues such as phone thefts.

We also received an update from Society Links, who have recently launched a women’s initiative and are looking to introduce swimming sessions in the near future.

In addition, we discussed upcoming community events and hope residents will be able to join us once further details are confirmed.

Officers also supported the local foodbank this afternoon, ensuring food was unloaded from delivery vehicles, distributed to those in need, and that the queue was managed safely and orderly.
