Shoplifter Arrested - Clarendon Shopping Centre

Good evening Hyde Godley,

Earlier today (14/05/26), Hyde neighbourhood officers whilst on foot patrol in the town centre spotted a wanted shoplifter in Clarendon Shopping Centre.  The shoplifter was arrested and taken to Ashton custody and enquiries are ongoing.

If you own a business or work in a shop, could you spot a shoplifter? They’re not always what you’d expect - specialising at blending in with shoppers. But you can often identify a shoplifter by their behaviour and there are tell-tale signs to look out for.
