Appeal for witnesses to arson and criminal damage at pub |
||
|
Hello Resident, We are appealing for witnesses to an arson attack and a criminal damage incident at a pub in Tilehurst. At around 4am on Monday 4 May, two males wearing tracksuits and face masks smashed all the windows at The Prince on School Road before leaving in a small black car. Then, between 4-4.10am on Friday 8 May, two males who had made efforts to conceal their identities poured petrol on the garden furniture and a person's vehicle before setting them on fire, while the residents were inside. The offenders left on St Michael's Road in the direction of The Meadway. The offenders are described as two males, one adult and one possibly younger. The older male appears to be around 6ft 2ins with the younger male slightly shorter. We urge anyone with information to help us identify the offenders or the vehicle used to flee to come forward, quoting reference 43260226194. Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers. Kind regards, | ||
