Local Priorities Nuisance Vehicle use Message

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Nuisance Vehicle use, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

WE HAVE HAD COMPLAINTS REF DANGEROUS PARKING AROUND THE CHURCH LANE, HIGH STREET JUNCTION, SCOTTER. THIS WILL BE MONITORED. PLEASE IF THIS REFERS TO YOUR VEHICLE, TAKE CARE WHERE AND HOW YOU PARK, MAKING SURE YOU ARE NOT OBSTRUCTING THE HIGHWAY AND/OR PARKING TO CLOSE TO A JUNCTION. THERE ARE NO RESTRICTIONS MARKED (YELLOW LINES) SO IT IS DOWN TO THE DRIVER TO CONSIDER A SUITABLE LOCATION FOR THEIR VEHICLE. THE HIGHWAY CODE ADVISES DRIVERS NOT TO PARK OPPOSITE OR WITHIN 10 METERS (32 FEET IN OLD MONEY) OF A JUNCTION.
