🔵 Operation Sceptre – Knife Crime Awareness Week 🔵

Throughout this week, our neighbourhood PCSOs are supporting Operation Sceptre, a nationwide campaign focused on tackling knife crime and educating our communities.

Today, PCSO Sanson and PCSO Longhurst have been visiting local primary schools, speaking with children about knife safety and the very real dangers and consequences of carrying a knife. It was fantastic to see that all of the children engaged really well and were very well behaved during the sessions.

These early conversations are vital in helping young people make safe and informed choices. Knife crime has devastating impacts—not just for those involved, but for families and the wider community. By working together, we can help prevent harm and keep our neighbourhoods safe.
