I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Wildlife Crime, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. Over the weekend we have received reports of ducks being injured on the river walks, in Dorchester.
This is behaviour is unacceptable and is a wildlife crime under Section 1 of the wildlife and countryside act 1981. The local Neighbourhood team are looking into this and are currently making enquiries to identify those responsible. In the meantime, we wanted to encourage the local community to report any suspicious behaviour and should you witness any of this, please report at the time. If you have any information about this incident, over the weekend, please contact us, quoting occurrence number 55260071406.
With that in mind, do you know where are your children are?
Learning independence as a young adult is so important but so is learning how to take responsibility for how your behaviour affects other people and your community. What starts as ASB but then leads into more serious incidents such as the above can easily turn into a criminal record. We don’t want to be the ones bringing your children home tonight.
